This is the best place to stay if you want to see the arribada of turtles! The starting point of the tours is just right across the street. Ostional is quite far to drive from other locations, it is advisable to drive there in daylight and stay in the village for a night. The house is basic but comfortable, the rooms have AC and stable wifi. The hosts were super kind depsite the language barrier.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Luis is amazing. He has a generous and kind soul. The hostel was very sociable and there was a very nice sharing dynamic. We cooked a lot of meals all together. There was a lot of spices to choose from as well as cooking oil which was very nice as most costa rica hostels dont offer this. The small common areas make it super propice to socialize with people. Nice clothing line to hang clothes. I felt like at home.

We’ve had the best time at Kibans 🫶🏼! Even came back after a week because we missed it. The hostel is the perfect place to make friends, party, chill and make memories for life! Perfectly located in a very quiet neighbourhood close to the beach, supermarkets and the towncenter. The volunteers and owners do their best to keep the space clean at least twice a day and are very communicative. Very comfortable beds with lights, chargers, curtains and personal fan. I loved it!
