Hostels in Puerto Jiménez

Beautiful place! Andrew put a lot of love into creating this amazing garden and rooms and made this truly a home away from home. We enjoyed spending time in the garden around the fire, sharing some beerd and chats. Seeing all the animals (sloth, iguana, racoons, scarlet macaws....) Right at our doorstep was the highlight. It was just amazing! We would love to return again one day!

we absolutely loved this place, but when deciding you should keep in mind that's it's rustic, more so than what the pictures suggest. it's hot, humid, we found a scorpion in our bed, but the wildlife surrounding the place is amazing. the kitchen is also excellent, and you'll probably have some of the best sleep of your trip (it's not as hot at night).

Esperanza is the best place I've stayed in Pavones yet! The owner Charlie is absolutely incredible. He was extremely friendly and went out of his way to get us anything we needed during our stay. We booked a private room and it was very clean with a massive bed and beautiful bathroom. Oh and free coffee in the morning which is always nice. The place is located right next to the break so you are able to take a quick walk to the surf. It also has a few soda's within a minute walk, a general store around the corner and a bar not too far as well. It has everything you need within a very short distance which makes the place such an ideal stay. The prices were also extremely reasonable compared to other places in the area. We had the best time and will definitely be coming back!!
