This accommodation has everything you need. Every detail is thought out and the space is comfortable and spacious. From all the hostels I have been this has to be the best one. I felt at home immediately and the host will do everything to make you feel comfortable and are available anytime. At first, I was hesitant as I am a female solo traveler and the place did not have many reviews, but this is due to the fact it’s a new hostel, and now I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting San Jose. The location is very central, eating spots at walkable distance, supermarket, even a cute book store. Felt very safe here!

WOW - this is a family run hostel and you can tell they care about the guests. It is very, very clean. Your dorm bed is made for you every day - how's that for customer satisfaction! Breakfast is a cooked breakfast with fresh fruit every day. I went from the dorm to a private room when I had to extend my day. The private room was spacious and clean with balcony. There is a pretty garden where you can listen to the birds (& train that passes once in a while!). The will do your laundry (small fee). Uber rides are very inexpensive from the hostel to downtown (20min walk). I recommend this hostel and would not have extended my stay here had it not been exceptional.

Small hostel with the family living on premise. They were very kind and accommodating. Everything was kept very clean. Excellent wifi. A good portion of San Jose is a little dangerous these days but this neighhborhood felt quite safe. It has quite a few restaurants (and a good gym) within walking distance but lacks a nearby laundry service and not offered by the hostel. Something to ponder if you plan on staying longer. Bed was comfortable.

Absolutely perfect place in San Jose to stay. Breakfast was yummy, with coffee. Not a party hostel or whatever so it was really good to rest and have some space for yourself. I had some troubles with a booking in Santa Teresa and the staff has been extremely helpful in assisting me to sort it out.

The recepcionist David was amazing! He saw as from the street coming and he ran to took our suitcases. He showed us everything and he made our stay nicer!

The staff were so so cheerful and welcoming, I felt straight like being at home. The shared shower & toilet was spacious, and felt comfortable using. The kitchen, living room and several shared public spaces were really comfortable.
