It was super clean, bed linen and towels were free of charge, good wi-fi connection; there were sockets just behind my bed -really comfy; besides regular light, there was a little lamp, so you can adjust it according to your needs *Enough room for your clothes👌 *Clean and working fridge 👌 (there was a TV as well but I haven't used it) *Sanitizer 👌 *Not crowded (only 10 rooms all in all) 👌

It is an excellent hostel with large communal areas and a great view over the harbour of Hamburg. I was lucky enough to get a bed in one of the newly refurbished rooms. New beds with more privacy than before. Power socket both by the bed and inside the new lockers with code lock. Good breakfast included in the price.

This is a review of room 7. There is no reception and a pin code to the door is sent to you 1 hour before check in. The information sent on how the digital locks work is thorough and very clear. First impressions: immaculately clean and tidy. The room is small and has all that one needs. There is a little kitchenette in the room with a sink, two electric hobs, a fridge and, best of all, a kettle. The shower in the shower room works fine and has adequate pressure and temperature. Towels were provided. There are radiators in the room and the shower room that work and provide plenty of heat. The WC is not in the room but just outside the door and was spotlessly clean. I did not find it a problem that the WC was outside the room. It was always available when I needed to use it, just 2 steps outside of the room. The security to the entire place was thorough and I felt safe.

I don't understand why this hostle has 4,0 rate at Google. My stay was perfect. It was cheap and very comfortable. I had a 4-girls room on a female floor, so it was super safe. Bathrooms were nice. Kitchen, common area, wi-fi - perfect. When I'm in Hamburg ever again, I will stay here!

    Hostel is in a great location, easy to go around Hamburg with some cool bars, cafés and restaurants around it. Staff was lovely and helpful. Showers were good, but the showerhead didn't have a high holder attached to the wall, so I had to hold it up to be able to wash my hair. Kitchen is well equipped.

    The location was perfect. Rooms and beds were clean. Moreover, I didn't hear even a single squeak from the bunk bed. Breakfast was extraordinary. I have never seen so many varieties for breakfast in any youth hostel before. There were sockets even in the lockers. No need for padlock. There was combination on lockers. No deposite for the key cards. Definetely everything was so perfect.

    This place is good for a few nights if you are on a budget. Despite being a youth hostel, it is clean. Regarding noise, it really depends on the other guests you will be with. For me, it was a bit loud late in the evening over the weekend, but ther other days were fine. It is a 10-minutes-walk away from a U-Bahn station from which you can reach the city center in about half an hour. All in all, my stay was pleasant.
