I had a wonderful stay here. Even though the weather wasn't on my side, and I was the only guest in the hotel for the duration of my stay, I still really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely stay here again.

Omar’s hostel is a hidden gem for those who want to enjoy Montañita but still have a peaceful, authentic place to relax. Omar is such a kind, open, and experienced host – he shared great local tips, showed me around, and made sure I had the best time. The vibe is like staying with friends – super welcoming. I stayed in a colorful SpongeBob-themed room with blue, sea-inspired walls and a view of banana trees and singing birds. Just amazing. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, it’s close to town, and the private gym is a huge bonus for sporty travelers. Highly recommended!

I liked it, the hotel has a nice garden, the rooms are comfortable, all the furniture in teak wood and fast internet. It was what I was looking for, a quiet place within walking distance to the beach. The managers Susan and Ruben are very charismatic people.

Super nice location. You have everything you need here, so you don't have to go into the center (10-15min walk) if you don't want to. The people are really nice and try to help you as much as they can. The Bungalows are clean and super comfy (every bungalow has a little terasse with an hammock, table and chair). The pool gets cleaned every!!! Day. You have a direct access to the beach and it's way less crowded than the one in the center. You have different games as billard and ping pong. There are different spots to chill all over the Place. It's easy to meet new people. There are events like pool parties with a dj. Some people in the Feedback section complained about the noise, but Montañita is a party city and there are maybe 2-3 party evenings. Overall it's a really nice affordable place. Sidefact: They also have parking lots where you can stay.
