hmm never felt more welcome in a hostel in my life?? honestly, ithaka was home right away, with the nicest people there sharing stories, music, and very good advice on what to do around. It's right in the center of Alexandria, facing the sea, with everything close by. oh and also everyone kept offering me food?? especially Samir, thank you for feeding me all the time and for being such a great person!! The name speaks for itself, this place is home

My stay was absolutely wonderful, and the staff, especially Charlie and Zia, were exceptional in every aspect.

Spacious room, everything is clean, the two men at reception are friendly and helpful. There is no wi-fi in the house, just as a notice if you want to plan some things. A bit difficult to find if you arrive in the evening, by day it’s a lot easier as you see the name on the top.

Super good communication, private silent room with spatious bathroom. Not crowded as there aren't many other rooms.

At the time of writing this review, I stayed in a double room with a balcony for 750 EGP per night. The accommodation is ideally located in the heart of Corniche, Alexandria's beautiful coastal road. It is situated in a building right next to Saad Zaghloul Square, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, markets, and shopping complexes. The Corniche itself offers a priceless experience for leisurely strolls. Located on the 4th floor, the hotel provides a balcony with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, bathed in warm sunlight. The room is spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need, including a TV, fan, air conditioning (unused during winter), a table, and chairs. There’s very little to ask for beyond what is already provided. Hot water is readily available and works perfectly. While it’s not a luxury hotel, one thing I can confidently say is that this is the best choice you can find for 750 EGP per night. If you are a long-term backpacker or planning to spend extended time in Alexandria, often called the "Bride of the Mediterranean," I highly recommend the Transit Hotel. The staff is friendly and available 24/7. Although breakfast service is not provided, there’s a common hall with tables where you can freely relax. If you need anything, the thoughtful owner, Mohamed, and the staff will go out of their way to assist you. Mohamed is incredibly capable and kind. All the staff is so kind and helpful and polite. There is hot shower,toilet paper,blankets.And the windows are thick, so I can’t hear much noise from outside. During the day,you can leave your luggage for 50 pounds per person.Because of that I was able to explore Alexandria without luggage even after checking out! If I come to Alex next time,I will stay this hostel again.
