ItalyAmazing! I found this place looking for somewhere cheap to stay while my son attended an athletic camp in Sierra Nevada, and no other place could have been better!
First , the owners: Javi and Maria are so kind and so Spanish in the way they treat their guests that I felt at home from the very first moment I arrived.
As they knew I would be staying for quite a long time compared to other guests, they reserved me the room with the fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and tidy.
There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave and all you would need to cook yourself whatever you want.
But what I would suggest is to grab something from the bar . Maria is a great cook as well! The prices are super fair!
And even if you don't have the intention to eat anything from the bar, but you just order a drink, you will surely end up eating a tapa (offered with the drink)! So kind of them!
The bathroom was shared , but I never had to wait a second for it, and it was always clean .
The village is a little gem in the middle of nowhere . The view is amazing ; you might end up meeting an old man walking down the narrow streets with his horse, and everyone is so warmly Spanish that after a couple of days, they would just say "ciao, Italiana. "
Actually, the beautiful beaches of Costa Tropical are only a 15-minute drive away, so it is well worth staying here instead of in a dodgy hotel down by the seaside.
I loved this place , and I would recommend it to all of my friends and definitely come back next year.
