I like the feeling of privacy in a shared room, especially since each bed has its own curtain. The location is also near two metro stations! Also, I saw a small box where you can leave items you no longer use, like soap, for others to take and use. I love this approach to sustainability! The disco laundry is also so much fun!!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean spaces, there is one Billard table downstairs (for a small price), and TV. Good breakfast option, stayed in six bed room, was quiet, clean. Excellent value for price, very good location.

First of all, it seems like Spain has a proper understanding of what customer service in hostels is. Last year I stayed at another chain (Toc Hostels) and I was impressed too. I've stayed in MANY hostels in my life around Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and those experiences were never as nice. Not even close. About One Fam. The name makes sense. It does feel like one family indeed. The staff is well trained; Attentive, helpful, friendly and nice. There are different activities every day to share with other guests, and good amount of common areas compared to the number of bedrooms. Something highly appreciated. The location is great, but obviously being right in the city center, you can expect some noise on the streets. This is not the kind of place that will kick you out at check out time either, even if they are fully booked. The vibe is so different, no wonder why the have many hostels around Europe. It seems to be an efficient business model. Happy customers equals revenue. It's highly probable that backpackers will choose this chain again somewhere else. If the price of this hostels are a bit higher than other, this is probably why. Absolutely worth it. Muchas gracias!
