Everything is how a hostel should be, amazing. I arrived in a cold early November, so it was pretty quiet. I guess this hostel will be busy with a lot of happenings in spring and fall seasons. Location is perfect, 5 .mins walk from the main central station. There's an Irish bar opposite. Can't fault it.

Easy check-in is available 24/7 - even outside office hours. There is plenty of space between the rooms to hang out, play, cook, eat, read (there are books in several languages) - alone or with other guests. Take off your shoes the Finnish way at the entrance is a nice detail - it makes you immediately feel more relaxed and at home. Everyone has a small locker next to their bed.

Hostel deserves 20/10 mark. It's realy very comfortable and cuzy. You can find maps of city inside and other useful stuff for tourists. What is especially interesting, there is a small flea market inside and shared food shelf. Apartments are clean and warm, as well as kitchen. Location is good for exploring city. Staff are nice and will help you. I really recomend this hostel.

Beautiful location right next to the Suomenlinna Fortress. The ferry went every 20min, so it was easy to reach and we enjoyed being 'out of the city' a bit for our nights (though it was only a 15min ride). Self/late check-in was no problem. End of october is a bit off-season in finland, so it was not crowded.
