First of all, location location location. Situated in the middle of 14th district with tons of restaurants around and you can walk pretty much at anytime of the day,it felt very safe to me even walking back from the Eiffle Tower or Montparnasse at midnight. You can easily get to the hostel by using subway line 4 or 13, so going anywhere in Paris by public transportation is not really a problem here. The receptionist assigned me the wrong bed initially which seemed a little bit crowded and lack of natural light in that room, but changed me to a room with only 3 beds and a window open to the main street, how lucky i was! Breakfast is simple yes, but for the price you pay in that area in Paris, you really shouldn't have higher standard than what they offer.

Staff was very helpful. Being able to leave things in locker before check in and after check out was very convenient. It is close to metro stations from line 6 which take to straight to main things to see in the city. Beds are comfortable, with place to store things safely and a couple of useful shelves with power outlet to charge devices. Usable kitchen and common area.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
