Staff were so helpful that we arrived late night but they were there at reception to welcome us and show the rooms. Bathrooms were clean and no queues. Everything was clean.

For a hostel it was great:) Easy check-in, friendly staff, comfy bed, big locker. Even though it was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded, no waiting times at the bathroom etc. Very good atmosphere and although the location was central it wasn't noisy.

Five minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Station and less than 10 minutes from Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile Backpackers enjoys a central location surrounded by bars, cafés and restaurants.

There were clean towels, coffee and tea everyday. The staff were amazing and the environment is very friendly.

We Stayed 2 nights and had an excellent experience. The hostel is clean, modern, and well-located—just a 15 minutes Bus to the city center. Beds are comfy with privacy curtains and charging ports. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed but social. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly and comfortable stay in Edinburgh!
