This is an outstanding facility. First, everything was very clean and well organized. Room was comfortable and bright. The kitchen also was very clean and provided all that's necessary to cook your own meals if needed. We took advantage of their washer and dryer which was very useful for us. The building is beautiful with a lovely little courtyard welcoming you.

We arrived after 9pm but the hostel reception host arranged for us to get our key anyways. Rooms are comfy, bathrooms are very clean. Everything is eco friendly, they really go the extra mile. Location wise, it is really very beautiful there. The check out was perfect, very nice receptionist who gave us directions to visit the area. Highly recommended.

Ratagan Youth Hostel is has a lochside location with views towards Skye. Free WiFi is provided.

The staff were friendly and helpful, they would show you around to get to know the hostel, the rooms were spotless and the location is perfect surrounded by mountainous scenery and a restaurant across the road if you wanted to get a bite to eat before exploring Skye!

Great bunkhouse in a stunning location. We had the place to ourselves so the children had a great time ! Pam was very kind and helpful providing us with info on places to visit and finding some highland cows…thank you !
