The owners are wonderful! I felt like home immediately. This is a family runned hostel. I got a clean shower and toilet. As I am a bikepacker, my bicycle had a safe place to rest. They also put a lot of effort in keeping the place clean.

This is the happiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The South African guy at the front desk is very warm and friendly, always eager to help with any questions. The hostel is clean, and the location is very close to Freedom Square with supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient. Highly recommended.

Cosy place to stay. I would definitely stay again. There is also balcony in the house which is available to use. Nice to chill there.

Wonderful homely feel in brilliant location close to everything. Tina was very quick to respond to any queries I had and very warm reception. Would definitely choose to stay there again. Note: the house entrance is in the courtyard behind number 5 so go through the gates next to left of building marked #5 and you will see a sign for Tina's guesthouse.

The best location, this hostel is in the heart of Tbilisi! Very comfortable, room has enough space, not too many things. Old and beautiful churches, mosque and synagogue - all together close to the hostel. Host was very nice and helpful woman, what I liked most was that man and woman rooms are separate. Room was very clean and tidy, it seems that it’s newly renovated. I highly recommend this hostel !!

I stayed in a few different hostels in Tbilisi and Friends Hostel was easily the most enjoyable experience - and the other hostels were great... Tanya did a wonderful job of creating a welcoming and homely space, with attention to detail, splashes of colour and decor. The atmosphere is warm, open, social and comfortable. There is a decent sized round table in the common area for those who want to do a bit of work, yet there is still enough space for others who just want to relax or enjoy a meal. Highest recommendation.
