I stayed at Hakuna Matata Hostel for the first time, and I can honestly say it was ten times better than staying in any hotel. The vibe is just unbeatable, warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The hostel was super clean, and you could tell the owners really care about the space and the people staying there. The bathrooms and showers were surprisingly great. The beds were so comfortable too, I slept like a baby. What really made this place special were the people. The owners and workers are some of the best humans I’ve ever met, genuinely kind, funny, and always up for a chat or to help with anything you need. The owners and workers offered us homemade rakija and shared drinks with us, we ended up staying inside, playing music, and telling stories. It felt like a family gathering, not just a place to sleep. The social atmosphere was amazing. I met so many cool travelers and ended up making five real friends during my stay. Everyone was open, chill, and just there to have a good time. Whether it was cooking together in the fully equipped kitchen or just walking to the beach or the city (which is super close, by the way!), there was always something fun going on. You can cook your own meals if you want, which is perfect if you're traveling on a budget or just want to hang out like you're at home. This hostel didn’t just give me a place to stay, it gave me memories I’ll never forget. If I could rate it 100 stars, I would. When I visit Dubrovnik again, i'll 100% come back to Hakuna Matata. Also when I was booking a room, it was very fast, which made this even more awesome!

Everything there was great- staff was very nice and helpfull, the place is clean and space well organized. Next to the hostel is bus stop, grocery shop, bakery and even court to play valleyball or football. My experience there was very positive! Also they let u leave your baggage here if u still have time to explore the city after the check out.

this cute little hostel really surprised me: excellent location, very polite and friendly staff, money/quality ratio I d say 12 out of 10.

Amazing hostel, had all the amenities, fantastic location and the staff is really great. Very nice and helpful
