Hostels in Rijeka

I had no idea that the Botel was actually a former ferry, and thus docked on the sea. It was a pleasant surprise, like finding out you are going to be staying on the Queen Mary in Los Angeles, a stately ocean liner from Titanic days. This is of course much smaller and not as luxurious, but it gives the same fun feel of being on an ocean liner with decks and views over the sea and port holes for windows. It is smack dab in the center of town, moored on the riva main promenade, but I did not hear anything in my room, it was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was big and firm, very comfortable, and I slept very well. The water pressure in the shower was way better than mine at home in Hvar! The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating, and the breakfasts were great, and included in the extremely reasonable price. I really loved everything about this stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff! And also PS, it was extremely hot outside, but the air conditioning in my room was amazing and I was able to adjust it to a temperature that was absolutely ideal for me, so every time I walked in, I was greeted by refreshing, cool air that was just right. So critically important during a heat wave (more and more common all the time).

The view of the window was amazing. Social hostel right in front of a beach and with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Its in the perfect location, you can be at the city center directly and with 30 min walking you can reach the famous beach. The hostel staff was were very kind and answers all the questions we had.
