Clean and friendly people, both staff and roommates. Didn't stay for breakfast, but offered from around 8-10. The bathrooms are clean and easy to access. There are also "lockers" under bed for secure storage. A/C in rooms as well.

It's a small hostel, probably the most quiet I ever been to what was the plus as I could get good sleep. Bed was comfortable, the only one thing I was missing was some blanket as at some point at night I got a bit cold from air con. The locker has its own key so no need to worry about having your own lock with you. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

I had an amazing experience at Elli Hostel! Every detail contributed to making my 21-day stay unforgettable. From start to finish, I felt incredibly satisfied with the entire experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations about local places to visit. The beds at the hostel were truly comfortable, and I really enjoyed getting a good night’s sleep after long days of exploration. But what truly made the stay special were the two volunteer girls, Mag and Demi. They added an incredibly positive atmosphere to the hostel and were always ready to organize events like movie nights, trips to the beach, and outings into town. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude really rubbed off on all the guests, creating a wonderful ambiance.

This hostel is the best, and I highly recommend it when travelling through Split or as a short-term home base. Boris takes a lot of pride in his hostel and it's easy to see why: the place is small enough to allow guests to get to know each other and get comfortable quickly (only two big rooms, approx 40 people total), is immaculately clean and has comfortable beds and spacious rooms, and is located just a few minutes walk from the old town. Boris and Nicole have been immensely helpful in organizing tours and giving recommendations for anything at all needed, going out of their way to help guests and really making the place feel like home. As listed online, there is no full kitchen, but there is still a big fridge, small oven, panini press, kettle and microwave that you can get very creative with to cook snacks and meals. Otherwise, you're a 30-second walk from a supermarket and many other restaurants and places to eat. During my week there, I heard repeatedly from new friends how great the vibe in the hostel was, which I would agree speaks volumes about the environment they have created at Gravitas. Highly recommend this place!
