The person at reception was very kind and the staff were very communicative and friendly on WhatsApp. The kitchen offered free drinking water. The room was really big and lovely. The hostel was quiet. The orange cat was very cute and friendly. The price was amazing for the room. We were very impressed with this hostel and would highly recommend it.

I wonder if talking to guests is one of their KPI : ) Snooze seems like a homestay brand in some tourist cities in Indonesia with same interior style - green plants wall painting in room, wood and rattan furniture and decorations in public area, vibrant garden full of real green plants - which can make you really snooze!

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Extremely clean, it has everything you need to prepare your own breakfast, hot water, it smells amazing, and the air conditioning works perfectly. Super comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly caring — they helped me with everything they could, such lovely people. There’s a water dispenser, they even provide shower sandals, shampoo and soap, and a big shelf full of books. I could have stayed there forever. By far the best option! So happy to have stayed at Ijen House.
