What an experience! We had the best time in Villas Ume Sedani. From the first moment we felt really welcome thanks to the owner Ita, her brother Komang, the other family members and the cute dog named Mollie! The rooms we're really clean and comfortable. Just new. The view from the room was 10 out of 10, all over the rice fields! Every evening we had to order our breakfast for the day after, just by texting Ita. The personal touch was something we really appreciated. Ita and Komang helped us with everything during our 3 day stay. Komang took us to the rice fields nearby and (with a friend) brought us to a lovely waterfall later that day. Ita, Komang and the other family members really wanted to make sure we had the best time in Sidemen! For our last evening Ita invited us to a Balinese wedding ceremony from her cousin who was getting married. She gave us a sarung (a traditional Balinese outfit) and took us to the wedding. It was very special to see the traditional Balinese wedding. All the (loads!) of people welcomed us and gave us lovely food, drinks and talks. What a way to experience the 'real Bali', outside of too busy cities as Ubud and Canggu. You absolutely have to go to this place. They don't have many reviews because Ita and her boyfriend just started. But it's more than worth the money. The best place in Bali! We will definitely come back here.

The staff is really kind and they will always help with nice places for food or transport. They have a own restaurant with amazing food and if you are lucky there a so many nice travellers. The dorms are the best, it is clean and the beds are big!

Komang and Wayang have genuinely been the most wonderful hosts I have come across in Indonesia. Always going out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is free and super tasty, they rent you scooter for really cheap, book boat tickets at fair prices and even drop you at the harbour for free of charge! Their kindness knows no bounds. Will definitely be staying at Gedhong whenever I’m back in Nusa Penida 😊

I spend 3 nights there it was really nice! The accomodation is really good, you have free tea, coffee, water and snacks. On the top of that the personnel is really nice and helpful, they give me free ride back to the nearest harbour! Really recommend

Super nice and cozy place in a little more remote area with an amazing restaurant close by and breakfast! Super friendly service, and please listen to them when they warn you about the road conditions! I would recommend it 😊

Modern, clean, spacious! Location is quite good as well, with a small beach round the corner and a short walk away in either directions to restaurants and convenience stores. Love the common chilling balcony on 2nd floor, comfortable and airy! The best would be the staff there, always greeting guests with a smile and very helpful with tours and queries. They even helped me find others to co-share a car tour with, saving me money in the process. I was very grateful and left a decent tip when i left. Thank you Moon Hostel for making my trip more enjoyable!

The staff are so lovely and helpful. I didn't have a scooter and they were happy to offer a ride when I needed to be somewhere. They helped to organise a snorkel tour. Facilities are good and the hostel is lovely.
