I’m so glad I booked this hostel! I stumbled upon it last minute after changing my plans and deciding to stay in Ubud, and it turned out to be a great find. The place is brand new, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in a private room on the second floor, which was perfect. Upstairs, you can grab a beer for a great price and take in the view from the terrace. I didn’t have time to join the yoga sessions, but I noticed other guests were up early doing yoga on the terrace—it looked like a peaceful way to start the day. Downstairs, there’s a charming little kitchen, and the breakfast they served us was fantastic. The fresh passion fruit juice was my favorite—Joni, the owner, told us they pick the fruit right from their own tree, and you can taste the difference. I also want to give a shout-out to Yogi, who was so attentive and welcoming. His breakfast is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars! And if I’m not mistaken, Kodan, the housekeeper, was a lot of fun and added great energy to the place! Joni clearly loves what he does, and it shows in the passion, creativity, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. Amazing interior, great vibe—highly recommend!

We had the best experience! First of all the staff were sooo helpful. We were a group of 5 who wanted to sleep together so we got our room upgraded for free to a private room. The room was very good value for money and the staff were also very helpful when we needed help or things didn’t work, they came the second we asked. The pool area was also very nice but our favorite thing was the hangout area and the kitchen. We cooked our own food almost every morning and evening and on the evenings we always got invited to hangout with the staff. They offered us to eat dinner and drinking with them and we were together all night eating fruits and singing songs. This place just felt like home, something you rarely find these days. I really loved this place and extended for many more days! It is really cheap and breakfast is included (in the price you pay when you book at the hostel itself). If you don't have breakfast included through booking.com, you can add it for 15k when you arrive at the hostel. It depends what you are looking for - if you want to be somewhere central in Ubud while still in a quiet location, this place is great. But also, you should not have too high expectations when it comes to the facilities. Everything you need is here (you can even use the kitchen! And there is free water, tea, and coffee), but just don't expect anything fancy. The beds have curtains, which I really like. I am actually still staying here after more than two weeks now. The female dorm has one bed with a window, so you can close the curtain and have your own room basically :) I think in the 8-bed mixed dorm, you can also have such a bed with window, but I think that bed with the window in the female dorm is the best hahahaha because it has a view into the garden and rarely, there are people walking outside of this window. It is a small jungle outside! Also, my roommate is so nice. A few other people have been staying for single nights, but we two are kind of staying here for now. I think in a hostel, the roommates are the most important factor, and I have met some very sweet people here! The staff is cleaning the whole place every day, and you can get your sheets changed every couple of days if you stay for a longer time. There is a fridge and a freezer for everyone - it doesn't have much space though.

Hostel Savanna Ubud is a hidden gem amidst the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The staff, especially David, made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. The tranquil atmosphere provided a much-needed escape from the city's traffic, and the pool was a refreshing retreat. Free yoga classes, massages, and delicious breakfast added to the charm. Meeting wonderful people and enjoying spotless, cozy bedrooms made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and relaxation in Ubud.

The place is amazing, lots of activities, free massage and mani and pedi. People are super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you want a place to enjoy and relax

Great location and facilities, shared rooms are very comfortable, the atmosphere is phenomenal and breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend it and come back!
