Indeed, he thoughtfully provided separate rooms whenever possible. Whenever I wanted to dive into the social side of hostel life, the common area was the perfect spot. I spent countless hours engaging in fascinating conversations with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and travelers. Their insights and stories enriched my stay and deepened my appreciation for the local culture. Can't wait to go back.

Some places really do leave an imprint on your Soul, and Uncle Hippie's is one of them. Because the place has been built with so much care, love and a truly collaborative approach between local and foreign investment .... there is an accompanying feeling that you get when you arrive. Yuri is a lovely legend, chill vibes all round. The place is petite and the rooms are small but have everything you need. Love the bamboo structures. It's close to amazing snorkelling (turtles!) and eateries .... the island is tiny so you can walk / cycle everywhere. I hope to return x
