Hostels in Auroville

I had a very special night here. The volunteers were lovely and helpful. The hut was very cozy and the stay was a real bang for the buck. Would love to return someday.

Nice hostel located in Auroville and surrounded by nature. Perfect for meeting new people. I liked the creativity area, the smoking area, the fire camp, the yoga rooftop and the shared kitchen.

Comfortable, clean, nice vibe

It was truly a memorable experience. The vibe of the place is very peaceful and deeply connected with nature. A big shoutout to Raj, the host — he made me feel right at home and was always helpful and friendly. There were some jamming events going on in the evenings. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect — right on the main road, close to all the cafes. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Auroville! 🙌

Hotel is clean and place was peaceful to do meditation and yoga

No breakfast but coffee tea and water on tap. It was cleaner than all hotels I’ve stayed at in india

Micasa hostel is a nice and safe place, especially for women travelers. I am glad to see that hostel is working towards women’s safety by providing women safe environment in the hostel. Staff: Hostel staff was friendly and helpful what’s related to hostel. Location: Hostel has very good location. There are souvenir and clothing shops, café and restaurants, fruit markets, pharmacy, autoriksha and buses around the hostel. Central bus stand is 30 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. French quarter/White town, temples and cathedrals, rocky beach, promenade boulevard and botanical garden are 10-15 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. My room: My bed was very comfortable and located at the gentlemen section of the hostel (ladies have own section where men are not allowed!). There are lockers under bunk beds, reading lights and plug/outlet next to each bed, air conditioner in the room. Remote control from the air conditioner can be provided to you if to ask reception. Otherwise, you will need to call reception each time when you need to turn on/off air conditioner. Shared space: There is a common male showers with toilets, a shared (with ladies) kitchen with everything needed for storage, cooking or warming own food, a living room for chatting with other travelers, an elevator/lift, an iron with board, a filtered water to refill empty bottles, a balcony to dry wet laundry and two rooftop terraces. Please be aware that there is no electric kettle in the kitchen. But there is a pot where you can boil tea like Indian. Cleaning: Hostel was very clean all the time. Hostel is the same as in booking.com pictures. I can highly recommend this hostel for everyone.

Everything was good. There was many plugs for charging and there was lockers and everything a traveler needs. Also the location is very good and the host very knowledgeable and helped me.
