I really liked the place. It's situated in a cozy area called Sarnath a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of Varanasi's city center. I really had a good time here, was able to do Yoga every day on the huge terrace and really fell in love with the place. The owners made me feel like at home here and they're really helpful and generous with the guests coming here. It's the perfect place if you want to escape the loud, crowded and demanding city center. Also, the food you can order directly at the hostel is sooo delicious for a very good price. All in all, a wonderful experience here.

The 7 Traders Hostel was our salvation! After we arrived early in the morning on the night bus from Agra, our previously booked hotel room was unfortunately canceled. The 7 Traders Hostel confirmed our booking immediately and we were able to check into our room much earlier. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We booked a second night on the spot. The room is clean and very central. We were able to visit all the attractions on foot and to escape the heat, we always stopped off at our hostel. The price-performance ratio is really great. We are happy to recommend it to others and will be back on our next trip to India!

The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming.they truly make you feel like part of their family. At first, I was a bit worried because the hotel didn’t have many reviews, but that’s only because it’s still quite new. The place is very clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect — just a short walk from Assi Ghat. I especially loved spending time on the rooftop; it’s a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view.

This place was very well located, within walking distance of many of Varanasi's major sights, including the Ghats. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, beds were comfortable, but above all else was the exceptional service! We were welcomed so kindly and provided with everything we needed and more. The owners of this place are absolutely lovely people and we truly appreciated all of their efforts throughout our stay.

Very conveniently located - just 5 min walk to Assi Ghat. Lots of good cafes, chai and markets... all within 5min walking distance. Yet, accommodation remains in a quiet neighbourhood away from buzz. Room is very clean, it is cleaned everyday, bedsheets and towels are changed every day. The family of 6, with their pet cats, are the warmest and friendliest... always ensuring that my needs are taken care of. And always having time for a chat!
