Hostels in Egilsstaðir

It was just awesome. No complaints, cool Hostel, comfy and clean.

The nicest hostel in the prettiest town! Beautiful kitchen & lovely staff.

This isn’t something I usually notice but the hostel was very well structured. The layout was very convenient and comfortable (showers were separated nicely with lots of space, lots of space for luggage in the rooms and under the bed, head space on top bunks etc) and there were outlets and usb ports in each bunk. The entire building had such a comfortable, welcoming vibe, not to mention it was very aesthetic and had an incredible view of the mountains and ocean. Nicely designed with a funky color palette and lots of decor. It was a 14 minute walk to the town centre but it had guides, maps, board games, and books all in the hostel. The kitchen was clean and had all the utilities organized and sanitized nicely. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and even helped me set up a ride to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Very quiet place, with horses around, accommodation in comfy rooms in old wooden building, furnished with love, very good equipped kitchen.
