Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

I was third time in this hostel - it is the best hostel in Iceland. The vicinity is wonderful with small lake and birds, you feel you are at the end of the world. You have clean rooms, large common room to eat something with well-equiped three kitchens. You can wash and dry your clothes (each 900 ISK). The hostel has got a big parking, many showers, good wifi. I love this place.

There are not many accommodation option in the area and this is probably the reason why this hostel is able to charge same price as much better hotels in other parts of the island. We had a small room with bunk beds approximately 2x2.5 meters.

Good value/money. It was the cheapest option in that area Spacious parking, big dining area, 3 well equipped kitchens, 2 massive fridges. The room is small with a bunk bed, but for 2 people is just enough. There is a small table and 2 chairs. Sink (very big plus), towels and a hairdryer.
A lot of bathrooms in a good shape.

The best Hostel in Iceland - amazing locality, clean rooms, many toillets and showers, few well-equiped kitchens. The possibility to use washing machine. Big parking, free wifi. The area of hostel is calm, with the possibility to observe birds. Beautiful view on mountains with water cascades. I was here second time and want to come again. My small paradise :)
