Wow what a fabulous hostel. By far the nicest and most spacious bathrooms I have ever experienced in a hostel. Wonderful hot water and great pressure. Having a full kitchen was awesome. Eight pot burners, two ovens, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge and all the cooking supplies was super handy. Eating out is expensive but buying groceries and cooking at the hostel was a great way to taste Iceland. I also love to cook so finding fresh fish and locally grown veggies at the markets was lovely. Fredricko (sorry if I spelled that wrong) at the front desk was super helpful with recommendations, setting up tours, etc. And a fabulous cappuccino maker. The bunk beds were great and I loved the privacy blinds on them. Beds were comfy and clean sheets. I was surprised when my extra suitcase fit under the bed in the ground locker! Super spacious to fit all your gear. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. The bunk rooms do hold a lot of people but with the privacy curtains helps to give you that personal space. I sleep with eye masks and headphones/ear plugs so I didn't hear the other people. Everyone respected quiet hours well and it was nice.

-I stayed for few days in this hostel, my room was clean and quiet. Plugs are close to each bed which makes it very handy, there is also sink in room and small lamps. - Bathroom had shower gel and hairdryer which was handy as I forgot to take those 2 with me. -There were safe locker boxes outside where you set your code and you can store valuables (they are for small items only, like my camera fitted in there and could put few more things, but not like a bag/backpack, they are in common area you can access it 24/7) and there is also place where you can store your luggage when you arrive early or want to leave it after check out. Staff is coming with you when you put and pick your stuff from storage room (I was shocked at first as in most of hotels I've been they would just hand me keys/code, but it makes it much more safe for your luggage, this is operated by staff, so only in staff working hours to use). - Location is good, it's just around corner from Hallgrímskirkja church (which is great spot to walk down the street and explore all center from there) and around 10-15 mins to main bus station, there are also few bus stop for tours and shuttles around as well (closest 11 and 9 I think, around 5 mins away). Also around 5 mins away there is mini supermarket (10-11) which is opened 24/7 which is very handy if you plan to go on all day tours and everything is closed when you are back. - There are few fridges and sinks and sofa with table in area open 24/7, there is also kitchen with cooking area and table, but it's closed for the night, but you have pans, hobs, oven, microvawe, etc there. - Everything works on codes, room entry and main door entry are for codes, so you don't need to carry key or card with you.

Very cool decor, good security, big dorms are compartmentalized so they don't feel so big halls. Big lockers available by the beds. Can't ask for better location!

The staff were helpful and attentive. The entire hostel was clean including the double bedroom. Check-in instructions were clear and straight forward. If you like to hangout with people, the pub is the best place to head to at night at the top floor. It's a lively hostel. Just something to take note: - Required to remove bed linen before checking-out - Luggage storage available - Location is near rainbow street and bus stop 6 (good for airport bus and drop off)

Really great place to stay in Reykjavik. It's a really nice and clean hostel. The room was small but cozy and the shared kitchen has everything you need. The location is also great and everything is within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible service from the staff here. I was in an awkward situation and they spent the time to reaccomodate me in difficult circumstances. It’s always tidy. It’s cosy. It has cool events on. I felt very safe and even at home on this stay. Best hostel in Reykjavík, definitely recommend booking while it’s available.

Great Location, very popular hostel with travellers from all over the world. Great party hostel vibe, if that’s your thing. Breakfast provided at a cost was excellent. Smooth check in . I would advise if going with friends to book together, otherwise you will not be guaranteed to be sharing a dormitory like in our case. Beds ok does the job.

Friendly staff when you actively approach them yourself, room mates and great location. It was clear that they attempt to keep things clean (but given the small amount of bathrooms and large amount of guests, it can get dirty). It’s an Alright budget friendlier option (in terms of Icelandic pricing) for a few nights if you are ok with a very basic hostel experience and out and about most of the time anyway as I was. Rooms were mostly clean

Great location ! A 5 minute walk from the main part of the city, friendly staff, our bed was super comfortable and the room itself was lovely and warm! Key code entry system was great too, felt safe and didn’t have to worry about leaving a key somewhere, perfect to stay at if you’re trying to see Iceland on a budget

It's a classic backpacker hostel, very well situated, near a supermarket, to the sea and few minutes from center town. I slept in mixed dormitory. All kind of servics are available; it's possible to cook there.

Great location, easy walk from bus station. Clean. Very safe measures with a code to enter each room. Arrived at 2am, easily got in with codes and found bed and towel. Next door to geothermal swimming pool, $8.50, but free for those 67 and older. Good price for hostel in Iceland! Very pleased with my stay.
