This is a perfect choice if you aim to stay in the heart of Venice, in an old historical building, not far from the St. Marc`s Square. The place offers very reasonable price for this kind of location. My option was a shared bathroom, but it was all clean and comfortable. The breakfast is served in the same building and coffee/tea/hot chocolate is available for guests the whole time. The staff members are very friendly and eager to help, e.g. if you need a hair dryer. The luggage storage is available close to the reception. I would be happy to come back and already recommended the place to friends.

I loved my stay at generator giudecca! the hostel was fabulous, very modern, great facilities, the bed was fab, and I loved having the built in light and charger. my bed had a fantastic view of the canal! I was sceptical about being a 12 person dorm, but I barely noticed the others! everyone was super quiet and respectful. I also loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. would definitely stay again!

Really nice budget option. Super comfortable beds! A lot of young people. I have been there during low session, so hostel didn't offer any special food or events but I have seen that they have. In the area are many nice and cheap local restaurants!

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is a bit out of the way, but easy enough to get to and much cheaper than staying on the main island. I felt safe in and around the hostel as a solo female traveller. The staff that checked me in were incredibly kind and helpful, although the staff on reception/bar the following morning were noticeably less so.
