The tent dormitory was actually really nice. It's basically a pod hotel but instead of a pod you have a nice big tent. The whole place was very clean and the onsen is very nice too.

One of the our best stays in japan! The host family is incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms equipped with everything you need and the commen area is spacious. We enjoyed talking to the hosts and experiencing a traditional japanese room. We really recommend this place and would have loved to stay longer.

    The location was really great and I felt very safe staying in a mixed dorm as a woman travelling on my own. The beds were comfy, and it was great to be able to leave my bags in the hostel after I checked out until I caught my bus that evening. The wifi was strong and overall it was a good stay! Will definitely stay here on future trips to Beppu.
