Rooms are Japanese style, with lots of space in the dorms. I had a large suitcase with me and there was plenty of storage space for it beside my futon! The staff are really helpful, but best of all you could feel the history of the place. We are a family of four (two boys aged 13 & 11) and all thought it was the best hostel we’ve stayed at - friendlier, more fun and better than many hotels.
