The hosts are just the best, they are so nice and social, they really care and I had the best time there. The common area is very nice and the beds were comfortable too. They had free coffee and tea too. The washing machine was very cheap but it took a lot to dry. They give you so many nice recommendations for places to eat at and places to see. The hot cups of tea and free snacks and scones made us feel so comfortable after a long travel day. The staff are so friendly and fun. The hostel is an old-style japanese inn so you can expect paper walls and same for the bathroom. You feel at home here and it's close to the temple and a cheap 100yr old bathhouse.
