Hostel Cuore is a wonderful place. The room was very big and with all the comforts, a gem in Japan! The bar is great to have a drink or read a book and the staff is lovely. I have been in many hotels in Japan and this really stands out!

Very comfortable beds and really clean place. Not sure why this place is so low rated as the quality and cleanliness of the facilities are above standard.

Everything. I checked in very late - they were so accommodating. Especially considering my inconsiderate behaviour. It’s a perfect cheap and cheerful Uno stop. And the bookstore/bar is exceptionally cool!

The place is such a gem! First of all you wake up every day with a stunning view of the Seto Inner Sea. What’s more - everything is clean, towels are fluffy, air conditioning working tirelessly, sauna with cold bath if you want, and amazing food in the restaurant. If you mention any allergies or food restrictions, the cook will go above and beyond to make you something special that is not even on the menu. But it would not be possible without the host that not only speaks perfectly in english but is very thoughtful and caring, seems really interested in your experience, finds you transportation, recommends places to visit and makes you feel welcomed and taken care of, and that is a skill not easy to find. It was our second trip to Japan, we have been traveling for a few weeks both times and that was easily our favorite place. We’ve felt safe and there was not even one spider, and that is a quality in itself in that region. 10 out of 10.

Such an amazing hostel and incredible value for money! Very cool restaurant/ bar with the front desk and a free welcome drink, but the bar was actually in a different building to the beds so it wasn’t noisy at night at all. Felt safe with multiple codes for different doors, great kitchen, and private beds with black out curtains. Great location too - it was right by the station, we stayed here to go to Naoshima and on to the Shimanami Kaido the next day. Clean showers and toilets too.
