SwitzerlandThe place is so natural, it‘s in the process of being built and improved and a spirit of helping to create a lovely place . All inventive ideas are welcomed. Max takes care of everybody kindly and you can rely on him. Take the boat ride with him to Elefant rock and jump the 6m if You dare. There was a storm and the current swept a lot of plastic garbage onto this peaceful beach. The staff offered a free drink for every bag of collected garbage and they cleaned the beach a lot them selves too. Great!

GreeceVery quiet place, relaxing atmosphere, calm sea, nak is wonderful host, he speaks so good English so you can really have a nice talk with him..his partner Nan is very sweet and cooks very well,. Bungalows are simple, anyway you don't need something more than simplicity here...bonus is there are 2 beds, both with mosquito net, one is outside area so you are really sleeping under the stars, 💓💓 so unique and so wonderful, i wish Nak the best!! Thank you very much!!🙏☺️🌼🐒💘

It doesn’t rely solely on backpacking volunteers but employs Khmer staff who are all lovely. Food here is the cheapest on the island, drinks are cheap, great happy hour at 3 every day. Max is a really great host and looks out for everyone. You can stray out for a drink or a swim at the other places on the island but it always felt like home coming back to last point in the evening.
