VietnamI really enjoyed my stay at Kaspi’s Hostel. It’s clean and the staff are very friendly. The hostel is in a safe and quiet area, close to bus stops, supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies, so everything you need is nearby.
The facilities are great:
- Bathroom: Always clean, with plenty of toilet paper and a working hair dryer.
- Kitchen: Has an electric stove, microwave, cooking utensils, spices, and tea.
- Bedroom: Warm and cleaned regularly.
- Extras: Washing machine and clothes hangers are available.
The hostel has security cameras, so it feels very safe. Even though I was often the only female guest, I felt secure. The hosts were very helpful, they booked a taxi for me and quickly answered my questions. The wifi worked well, so working remotely was easy.
Overall, it’s an excellent choice for affordable and comfortable accommodation in Aktau. I’d give it 10/10!

RussiaThe price is good and the room was like in the picture. It is a humble place, but I don’t understand some of the other reviews. The reception is open 24/7 and they are very kind: they helped me in changing money and Georgey (from the Republic of South Ossetia) showed me a cheap local столовая (/stolovaja/) with great food and gave me some hints. The kitchen has two big fridges.
