Excellent location for starters, right in the heart of the city. The staff were wonderful human beings, played board games with us, provided a detailed itinerary of places of interest, prepared lovely breakfast, and in my case even dropped me off to the nearby bus station to catch a bus to my next stop on travel. Very pleased with the hospitality and the cleanliness of the rooms. Small and simple, yet still very relaxing.

I don't have a lot of hostel experience, so it's hard to compare. However, I have only had good experiences here. The owner and his family lovingly look after the guests, organize excursions, dinners, safaris etc.. The other travelers were also open and nice, you quickly get into conversation and do activities together. The bathroom was always clean, you get your own lockable locker, have a curtain on the bed (nice for some privacy), sockets and a light by the bed, air conditioning. Bed linen is included, towels for an extra charge. The breakfast was good, the dinner was especially delicious. I was able to move my booking back 2 days without any problems. Due to train problems, I didn't arrive until 23:30 at night, but that wasn't a problem. I felt completely at ease and can recommend the hostel as a solo traveler.

Perfect spot for relaxing! Great view and accommodation! Hosts are really nice and helpful!! Although you are sleeping outside, I wasn’t freezing during night and there were no mosquitos or other bugs!

I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s out of town but that’s what made it so special, it was so peaceful. It had a beautiful view out into the rice fields and mountains and the walk along the train tracks was beautiful. The building itself was so cute and included brekky and dinner! Plenty to do around.

Excellent location, at a walking distance from ella railway station....you don't have to take a tuk tuk when you reach Ella. Also at walking distance from nine arch bridge. Courtesy at its best.....we had some problems with the snoring of a guest ha ha , but owner shifted us to expensive dorm without any extra charge. Thanks to him, would love to visit again..

The place is both clean and comfortable, and it's amazing in a word. Matthew and Palit, who are the staff members of one person, are amazingly friendly and helpful. The staff is the best I've ever seen.Overall, I loved this place.
