Amazing breakfast made by the owner of the hostel. He was very helpful providing information about local transportation, providing nearby food recommendations and hidden local sights to see. Also in a great location (5 minute walk to train station and main strip).

Clean and modern hostel, very social and easy to meet people. The air condition works really good unlike the standard A/C in Sri Lanka. Owner is very helpful and knowing all the information in town and also buses schedule for next destination.

The property is nestled on the hillside overlooking the train tracks and local farms, and it’s a great option for anyone looking to have a peaceful stay and take in the natural beauty of Ella. The owner is outstanding and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and accomplishing all they wish to do and see while in Ella. Located very close to the trailhead to Ella Rock, the owner woke up with us and personally guided us halfway up the mountain for our sunrise trek, which was immensely helpful as the path is difficult to find in the daylight, near impossible in the dark. I had dinner here two nights and it was delicious- Sri Lankan curries with roti!
