I really enjoyed my stay. The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. The owner organizes trips to the surrounding sights at fair prices. The food is delicious. There are very good storage and locking options for valuables and backpacks in the room. You can also use the pool from the hotel.

Greta and I had an amazing stay at Jungle Host hostel. Diwa and chuti were welcoming and super fun. They brought us everywhere and let us experience a lot of typical Sri Lankan culture, like the liquer, food, games, religion, culture etc. From the moment we arrived, we got immediately invited to join the trip to the secret waterfalls and many other activities in the following days. We won’t spoil yet, book your stay here if you want to discover more! We will definitely come back :) Ps. Also a great hostel if you wanna have nice travel pictures, because Diwa is a great photographer;)

The room was perfekt with a big comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I loved the place because it was quiet and peaceful bit you are in a few minutes in the centre where you can eat. Every sightseeing is in walking distance and its the perfect place to take a walk and enjoy the day. The family was super lovely and nice, could‘nt ask for more. It felt like a little SriLanka Home. They will also help you with everything and show you around places. Was one of my best stays while travelling!

This hostel have a really good vibes. I really enjoy be here. Khosta, the manager reccomend me a lot of places to visit and he give a lot of information about the places, also they give me coffee and we spend the time with good music and talks. Kani is the most wonderful host, I have met in Sri Lanka so far. His attitude towards people is genuine and friendly. He made me feel more like the part of the group rather just a tourist which I appreciate a lot as a solo female traveller. And helped me with some advice on my future travels on local buses. Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast was always delicious, and the one dinner I had there turned out to be the best meal of my trip — tasty, generous, and great quality. What really made it special was the people. Maliya was so kind and helpful, always there if I needed anything. He even took me to a beautiful sunset spot nearby and walked me to the bus stop when I checked out. Those small gestures really meant a lot and made the stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed here as a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Honestly, the host and his family made the trip for us – such a special place to stay
