An oasis just outside of Hikkaduwa. The host Kiri and his girlfriend were super kind snd made my stay so pleasant! Can really recommend this place! Everything was clean, the wonderful garden was well-kept and the animals were supersweet!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hummus Hostel & Restaurant during my recent trip to Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The name intrigued me from the get-go, and this hidden gem exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the warm and inviting atmosphere enveloped me. The owner at Hummus Hostel is genuinely kind-hearted and friendly, always going the extra mile to make sure all guests are comfortable and well-taken care of. The hostel itself is a beautiful, well-maintained property with clean and spacious rooms. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The common areas are thoughtfully designed, providing the perfect balance of cozy nooks for quiet time and social spaces for mingling with fellow travelers. The location of the hostel is also ideal, situated within walking distance to the stunning Hikkaduwa beach, where you can bask in the sun, surf the waves, or simply admire the breathtaking sunsets. Overall, I cannot recommend Hummus Hostel & Restaurant enough. It is the epitome of warm hospitality, mouthwatering cuisine, and an unforgettable atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Sena is a great host, he will make everything possible to make you enjoy your stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The outside common area is fantastic. Definitely recommend if you pass by Hikkaduwa.

Our stay at White House was absolutely amazing, the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by a mile. The room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and comfortable. We spent five days here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The highlight of our stay was the host, who treated us like a family and made us feel so welcome. The staff were friendly,helpful and their when ever I needed help. The hostel was just the right distance away from town but close enough to the beach. I definitely needed the mosy nets they had over each bed.

I can only recommend this hostel if you are looking for a cozy, clean place with good vibes. The hostel has direct access to the beach (practically private) and is convenient to bus stops. On the side you will still find supermarkets and places for primary things. Super clean and well maintained hostel, very relaxing atmosphere! The guy who work there and the owners are wonderful, they make you feel at home. I extended my stay already after the first day I stayed. I hope to return before my departure! :)

Third time staying here and have to say it’s fantastic. Great facilities. Spacious areas to socialise, cool and relax. Super comfy big beds and location is perfect for the beach of Dewata and Galle Fort. The staff are super friendly. It’s like home from home.

Amazing location right by the beach, can go for a swim whenever you like! The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were also phenomenal. Great location for a relaxed tropical getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at Snooze Station. The location next to bus station is great. Its just a short walk to fort Galle. The rooms are clean and specious. The staff was most welcoming friendly and helpful. The owner even explained me everything about the story and long history about this hostel/building. Highly recomment.
