As the name suggests, the view is amazing. You can view the whole beach from the hostel itself. The host was very polite and respectful towards the guest. Breakfast was amazing too which includes Sri Lankan breakfast on one of the days and it was very delicious. The dorms were clean, spacious and air conditioned. The bathrooms had showers with multiple settings and were clean too. Overall, an 10/10 experience. Nothing to call out.

I stayed at Costel Mirrisa twice and both experiences were absolutely wonderful. The place is extremely clean and well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. What truly made my stay special was their hospitality — one morning they even brought me a homemade local breakfast from their own home, which was such a thoughtful gesture. They also gave me a handmade keychain as a gift, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cozy, clean stay with warm and genuine hosts!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Banana Bunks felt like the perfect mix of chill vibes, beautiful design, and warm, genuinely kind people. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel right at home. The rooms are clean, and super comfortable. What really makes this place stand out though is the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, you can tell they care about the guest experience. The location is ideal - just a short walk to Mirissa Beach and Coconut Tree Hill. Plus, staying here gives you access to the Petti Petti Beach Club across the road (and a nice discount). I loved starting my mornings with a swim there or just lounging by the pool. Breakfast at Petti Petti was delicious and the setting right by the beach made it even better. I had no complaints. If you’re looking for a place in Mirissa that’s stylish, relaxed, and run by great people - this is it. Whether you're solo, a couple, or with friends, Banana Bunks is such a vibe. I’d 100% stay here again.

    Highly recommend this hostel,it was the best hostel I had stayed in Sri Lanka.The pricing maybe a bit higher for hostel but the facilities speak for it.Kitchen is also open.Everything you need to explore, restaurants, groceries are walkable.Also host gives you a map on check in which has all the details you need to make your stay comfortable.The ac dorms were very comfortable n had 2 shower rooms also. It was clean n there were cute cats at the hostel.You can checkout n keep your luggage in locker room n explore too..
