Fantastic stay at la smala. Amine who was working at reception was so friendly and helpful. Really nice vibe in the hostel & the roof terrace was absolutely stunning. Would stay again. The dorm beds were wider than most with a privesy curtain. clean funky bathrooms, never had to wait for a shower as plenty ...all in all was fantastic 👌

I'm in love with Essaouira from the first sight! And this hostel is a part of that. Firstly- very central location, when I mean central it means you're in the heart of Essaouira. The staff communicates perfectly, the conditions to stay in this hostel was almost ideal! Already missing Essaouira! Merci 🌼

My experience staying at the hostel was positive. After I checked in they invited me lunch and shared the most delicious tagine I had in Morocco. They made sure everything was comfortable. They provided me with my own roll of toilet paper, towel, and lock for the locker. They were able to answer questions about the medina and the city that made my exploring much easier. The room was kept clean. I had pillow, thin blanket, and thick blanket. I was able to take hot shower. No problem in the restroom. The place is conveniently located inside the medina walking distance to the attractions, beach, restaurants, money exchange, and bus station. I would recommend staying at this hostel.
