The location was great, the facilities are homely, Hicham was very welcoming and helped to organise transports and tours. You MUST eat dinner at the Riad, the Pastilla and Cous Cous are amazing. Would recommend!

Karim the host is super kind and helped me a lot in organizing my stay in Fes. The hostel is very nice and the atmosphere there is very comfortable. It quite easy to reach in the medina.

This is a great place to stay in Fez, the hosts are very friendly, open minded and will help you with anything, even cooking chicken tagine from scratch, they will make your stay very easy. Good access to nice places in Fez, full kitchen and lovely rooftop that you can use, they speak french, english, spanish, arabic...

The hostel is very good with a great location. They serve free breakfast everyday and then paid dinner at the evening. The hostel overall has a great vibe and it’s incredibly easy to make friends here. The volunteers are also very friendly and you will meet people from every corner of the world!

I spent two weeks here, the facilities aren't the best but honestly these were two of the best weeks I've ever had. It's all thanks to Omar who works so diligently 24 hours a day to not only accommodate everybody's needs and to ensure the comfort of all the guests, but to build a community and a sense of family. From group meals to music nights, Omar really creates magical memories and strong bonds that last far longer than you can imagine. Over the past two weeks, Omar and I have met many people who came and went and created so many great bonds and special memories together like a family. I'm totally heartbroken that it's my turn to say good bye to Omar who very quickly became my brother. Omar is so caring, generous, thoughtful, accommodating, kind, gentle, fun, knowledgeable and talented; he is worthy of so much praise and is deserving of a better working environment. It is because of my brother Omar that I strongly recommend coming here. Should Omar decide to leave and work at a different place then my recommendation will follow him. I want to thank everybody who made my time here so special; all the wonderful guests, Hanan who cleans and prepares breakfast in the mornings, and especially Omar with whom I've created memories I will cherish for a lifetime. Amazing location Just inside medina.Very helpfull receptionist.Also breakfast was tasty.I spend 3 nights there.I recommend all travelers to stay in this amazing hostel in Fes.

We loved our stay at Backhome! It was conveniently located and with a beautiful terrace - but above all, staff were the best part. Huge thank you to the team for being so thoughtful and kind when my partner was sick, we really felt at home. Breakfast was a highlight each morning. Would recommend to anyone and will stay again if ever back in Fes!

The manager Khalid was very helpful. Got us the extra blankets, ordered us the needed taxis and even helped us carry our stuff all the way from& to the taxi spot at 12pm& 3 am in the morning. The place is close by the main road where u can find all the stores and attractions. All the while it is very quiet.
