Exceptional Stay at Dar Iziki – A Home Away from Home! I had the most wonderful experience staying at Dar Iziki! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness, making me feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is truly special—relaxed, friendly, and full of positive energy. The cleanliness of the entire place is outstanding. Every corner, from the rooms to the shared spaces, is well-maintained, creating a fresh and comfortable environment. The shared kitchen is a fantastic addition, fully equipped and inviting, making it easy to cook and connect with fellow travelers. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful pool, perfect for cooling off and unwinding after a day of exploring. The sense of community here is incredible—whether you’re enjoying a meal together, sharing travel stories, or simply relaxing in the common areas, you always feel like part of a family. The team at Dar Iziki goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Their hospitality is truly top-notch, always available with helpful tips and warm smiles. I can’t recommend Dar Iziki enough—if you’re looking for a welcoming, clean, and social place to stay, this is the perfect choice! I’ll definitely be back. 10/10!

The location of the hostel is amazing, one step away from the beach. The atmosphere in the hostel is great and I would definitely recommend to see the sunset from the rooftop. The owner of the hostel is amazing, we forgot our wetsuit and he went above and beyond to get the wetsuit to our next destination with a taxi. I would definitely stay again in this hostel!

- the view was amazing, i could see the ocean from my window and hears the calming sound of the waves at night. -very relaxing atmosphere - "Amine" who was a very friendly and helpful host, he gave us tips on where to surf and what to see. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the city life, loves surfing and nature.

Very nice hostel, full of art. Although located in the bustling Medina, it is very quiet and peaceful. There are lockers in the dormitories (but you need to have a lock or rent one from the reception). Dormitory beds are equipped with a privacy curtain and a reading lamp. Breakfast is excellent. There is a nice terrace on the roof where you can enjoy the sun or the stars and listen to the ocean :) The first time you find this hostel is not very easy (follow the directions on Medina street) but after that it is very easy.

Hostel riad maqam is ideally situated in Essaouira, and has a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace.

Very relaxing stay, staff was helpful even if there was a little English there, guests were helpful around too. The room was tiny but cozy, place was great. Beautiful outdoor area, just very windy most of the days there so good to have a layered outfit as it gets nippy

This dar has a nice décor with a lot of artwork, clean rooms, ample warm shower and a rooftop with a good view. And the location is excellent, close to the coast and close to many good restaurants, cafes and shops. The homemade breakfast was also very good!

There's definetely a wave which is wandering through the hostel storeys like a ghost throughout the day that is warm to the core which is not of a pretention but of very from the heart,you feel it. All staff are part of this warmth without exception,you see them enjoying this wave, like greeting,dancing. Also there's Kawtar,who has utter unique cuteness, that is enchanting.
