Check-in was smooth and it is in a good location respective to other things in the city. The city is very small, so most things are within walking distance. The bed was comfrey enough and the bedding was warm as the rooms can be a little cold. At any rate, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Extremely quiet, cozy and comfortable hostel. It's a lovely flat that made me feel 100% at home. The heating was just perfect in this winter time for me. The kitchen and restrooms are more than adequate. The lady who manages this place doesn't speak English very well but she's very helpful and kind. It may be a bit difficult to find it at first, because there are no signs outside, but just go in the yard behind the building and enter the door with the cat shape drawing (which should be open) walk until the last (third) floor and you will see it. If you still have trouble finding it nevertheless, just ask the beauty salon shop nextdoor, as I did, they have been very kind and helpful with me.

As a professional photographer, I found Dmitri’s guidance invaluable. He knows every hidden corner of his homeland and shared locations that were absolutely perfect for capturing stunning shots. Dmitri’s hospitality goes beyond the usual hostel experience. He even invited me to his own home to meet his friends, making me feel like a part of the local community. His passion for his country and his genuine care for his guests are truly remarkable. The area is also incredibly safe, even late at night, so you can explore with peace of mind. For those traveling from Chisinau, Dmitri can organize transfers to and from the city, making the journey hassle-free.
