i initially booked two nights but wound up extending for one more night, which i think speaks for itself. the place was cosy and comfortable, and the owner was friendly and generous. it had everything a traveller needs - hot water, a small but functional kitchen, free tea and coffee and a huge bed for a good night's rest - all at an extremely affordable price. i highly recommend this place.

Blue Lake is the kind of hostel you dont want to leave. I went for 4 nights and I stayed 9. The place is very simple, but the familiar vibe makes you feel very well. And that is thanks to David and Nikita; they were always nice and friendly. They look like were enjoying staying and working there, and having time talking with the customers. The kitchen/living room helps you to meet and talk with others customers, so is easy meet friends. But also if you want to chill and relax you can just stay in the couch and watch a movie with Will while you drink some wine. Thanks all of you !

Hostel Bela is placed in a great position if you come by bus and leave early with it as I did, nonetheless is strategical for the seaside as well and you can have a pleasant walk through the alleys up to it, something recommended to see some hidden jems of Ohrid like the sv. Georgi church or the XV cent. Hadzhi durgut mosque, which are sadly out of common turistic itineray. Besides this, for its price location but has all the comforts you need, and the host is always available with a smile for every thing, from a nice chat with a coffee to info for the boat trip and help in any way possible. Top points: the room for breakfast is always open to chill a bit, is nice and cozy and has a piano as well (few notes slightly out of tune, but it can be played nicely) and the great include Macedonian breakfast, a must if you plan to walk miles in the surrounding areas as I did.
