I loved everything about this hostel. The location was great, close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars and city Center. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms always very clean. I stayed 10 days as I was working and I found different spots from where I could work and have my meetings. The hostel has a chilled vibe, so it was great as well to rest. The staff was the best part! All very friendly, we hanged out and had a good time together. Cooking lessons, and parties with Gus the DJ were the best!

The location was super super great right on the lake with lots of trips and kayaks to hire. The breakfast was great. The entertainment in the hostel was fun. The staff were soo friendly (especially Imara!). You have to visit this place!

Great vibe, good people and wonderful facilities and location. The hostel offers many activities throughout the week and is located just a short walking distance from the lagoon so it's very convenient to go out for a swim or a boat ride.

Our stay at Pata del Perro in Bacalar was exceptional. The central location served as a convenient starting point for our explorations, and the option to rent quality bikes from the hotel added to the experience. The cleanliness of the facilities, including the spacious kitchen and common areas with ample tables, made it a comfortable place to work and prepare meals. The room offered great value for the price. Overall, Pata del Perro provided a fantastic base for our Bacalar adventures.

One of the best hostels in Bacalar. It is walkable from the bus station and all facilities are available. The host is very friendly and helpful with any information and booking activities. It is surrounded by nature and pets. It's a great place to stay and feel at home with the family that owns this place.

Very nice spacious room. Awesome shower, hammock in the room which was cool for hanging out! Complementary coffee and a good location. What more does one need? That’s right, nothing ;)
