Motodorm Langkawi truly surprised me. Discarded materials were given a second life through the creative hands and artistic vision of the owner. In a world driven by consumerism, this kind of thoughtful reuse is a refreshing gift to nature. The location is excellent—close to local restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities, all at very reasonable prices because they cater mainly to locals. It’s also pleasantly quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The place is spotless, and the electronic lock system makes check-in easy and secure. From the balcony, you get a daily glimpse into local spiritual life, with a stunning Hindu temple just across the street—an experience both peaceful and grounding. If you're passionate about motorcycles, cycling, or adventure travel, the host and his son are perfect companions. Their passion is contagious. I originally planned to stay just one night... I ended up staying five more. If I have the chance, I’ll absolutely come back.

100% recommended for solo travellers. Female solo travellers as well as its completely safe. You get to meet so many different people who you will end up spending your whole trip with. Its a great place to network with people and make friends. My stay in Langkawi was beyond amazing solely becoz I stayed here. The entire property is super clean and extremely well maintained. There’s so much to do even at the hostel.

The staff is the nicest you could possibly find in Langkawi. The location is optimal as it's located close to the main street and it's still quiet and peaceful. I stayed in the dorm and actually enjoyed a lot the privacy of the walls separating the beds. I have only good memories, great value for the price!

When we arrived on the island, Nanda gave us a tour by car and showed us where to eat at good prices, where to shop, he gave us all the information we needed.
