We absolutely loved staying at Rancho Tranquillo. It is right across the lake so you can enjoy swimming and the sunsets. Daniella & Tony are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast made by Daniella. Their property is also so great, there are all types of animals running around and you can pick fresh mangoes from their mango tree. They were also kind enough to let us leave some of our luggage so that we could rent a scooter more easily and travel around the island.

Everything was perfect! The place was super clean, the breakfast delicious and the staff it’s awesome, very friendly and kind, they really make you feel home. I booked for one night at first but I ended up spending there three more nights! If I’ll be in Ometepe again I will definitely stay there!

Great location 10 minutes walk into Moyogalpa. Lorena and Martín were very welcoming and helpful. Arranged a scooter for me. Lovely patio with chairs and hammocks.

It had a very nice vibe. Small but pretty. It’s a very calm and relaxing hostel, ideally when you want to get your head free and be close to the beach. The staff is super friendly. For this price you definitely won’t find anything better. I life in Managua and will definitely come back!

Beautiful hostel, friendly and helpfull staff, all well organized, clean rooms, comfy bed, high speed internet and fantastic food. Bar with biggest selection of beers I saw in Nicaragua. What more could one want?

The best view you will get in Nicaragua, awesome if you want to surf Colorado and if want to stay in a place with a good vibe. Food and coffee are incredible. Stop looking for another place and go there.

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

The hostel was in a fab location, loved all the effort put in to try and make your stay comfortable, loved the decora and art very cool. Great breakfast choice of nica breakfast or one with fruits. Staff were very helpful especially the girl at breakfast. Would recommend staying here. But would maybe opt for a dorm instead of a room.
