but what makes the experience during my stay really superb is the owner of the apartment, Jan and his wife. Jan is a local Norwegian and his wife from Cuba. Decent people, warm and supportive. I also had a very nice talk with Jan, which I actually learnt a lot on life plan and the way we see ourselves, totally unexpected and rewarding. Thanks Jan.

GermanyVery nice hostel. Friendly staff. Good rooms with private bathroom, some with lake view. Dogs are allowed for 300 Nok. Free parking. Directly at a lake with a beach. Swimming is possible. They also have a playground, TV room and indoor gaming room including table tennis. Shared kitchen and fridge. They have everything you need including a toaster, cheese grader and a lot of pots. Coffee and tea is free 24/7. 30 mins to Stavanger and 30 mins to Preikestolen by car.

Comfortable Scandinavian style bed and plenty of room for each guest even if the dormitory was full. Great location a mere 5 mins walk from the lake and 10 mins to the harbour.
