2 min walk to the city centre, the lake, the train station, bus stops, many shops, perfect location, convenient to anywhere. quiet during the night. but what makes the experience during my stay really superb is the owner of the apartment, Jan and his wife. Jan is a local Norwegian and his wife from Cuba. Decent people, warm and supportive. I also had a very nice talk with Jan, which I actually learnt a lot on life plan and the way we see ourselves, totally unexpected and rewarding. Thanks Jan. highly recommended to anyone who travels to Stavanger.

Lovely, atmospheric, and historic building. Spotlessly clean. Each dorm.bed was provided with a plug socket with multiple plug extension lead. Free make your own hot drinks. Comfortable Scandinavian style bed and plenty of room for each guest even if the dormitory was full. Great location a mere 5 mins walk from the lake and 10 mins to the harbour. Big kitchen and outdoor eating area for guests.
