I feel secure that it runs a restaurant in the front yard instead of the other hostels usually run restaurant on the roof top. The dorm bed is very very comfortable. All of the staff are super polite and informative. They greeting me every time when I passed by the front desk, it is like the way of a five star hotel hospitality. The shower is powerful and it is real hot shower. Shower room is handy, well facility. One of the staff named Binod Bhandari is humble and hearty helpful. I m wondering Kwabahal boutique hostel probably is the best of the best hostel in Nepal.

Everything went smoothly! I was able to check in at 5am after arriving on a night bus. And got an amazing restaurant recommendation! Would totally recommend!

Super nice hotel, one of the cleanest and brightest hotels in KTM just for 9€. Comfy beds, no damaged furnitures, everything worked, nice shower, good wifi, nice place to stay relax or do some work. Stuff was super nice, always asks how are you, willing to help. I think all Nepalese people that friendly

Alobar1000 hostel has been a go-to spot for visitors to Kathmandu for over 15 years, and you'll be sad to leave. The staff are dedicated, genuinely kind, and so attentive that they start to feel like family. The premises have been recently renovated, with very clean, high-quality facilities that are constantly improving—all at competitive rates. Located on the edge of Thamel, it’s close to everything but offers a peaceful escape from Kathmandu's chaos. The hostel has everything you need: a nice bar, high-quality yet reasonably priced restaurant and café, and a travel agency, “Dal Bhat Power,” offering professional service and skilled guides. People say you come to Nepal for the mountains but return for the people, and this couldn’t be truer for Alobar1000. You’ll have to experience it yourself. I only wish more people in the world were as wonderful as Tashi, the owner of this hostel.
