This hostel felt like home! I stayed for about 2 weeks there in total. The staff was excellent and very helpful and it was nice talking to them and getting to know them. Anish and his brother are doing a great job running this hostel well, knowing what travellers want and like. Free breakfast included was very good every day! The big 12 bed dorm was the best, spacious, great mattresses and with curtains at the beds. I also liked there was a bit of space by the mattress to leave personal things out instead of locking them in the locker every time. The common space was nice and the food and drinks were also very good. On New Year's Eve they organised a BBQ in the common area which was fun and a good way to meet people and celebrate afterwards. I liked that lights and music were off at 10pm at the common area which allowed people to rest and sleep. Thanks to all of the staff! I had a great time! When back in Pokhara I will be back! 😊

Awesome hostel, nice vibes, great location, very clean and super sociable, easy to meet people and hangout. Stayed twice before and after trekking. Really helpful to keep luggage here while away in the mountains. Different delicious breakfast every day. Staff is also friendly and helpful. Great view from the rooftop would recommend and stay again.

This is the most comfortable room I have ever stayed in in Nepal. The mattress is very soft and better than a five-star hotel. It is very quiet and has curtains. It is very clean but it is a pity that few people choose to live here.

In the three months I’ve been in Nepal, my stay at Dulcify Cottage was a highlight. The cottage overlooks Pokhara and has stunning views of Annapurna and Fishtail, and is only a short walk from the sunrise viewpoint. I was well taken care of and every meal was fresh, organic, home grown and delicious! There’s a balcony where you can look at the view whilst you eat and enjoy the sun. It was really interesting to get a tour of the farm, see the beehives and meet the horse too. In addition, the paragliding fly off point is close by and good fun! I’m very touched to have been treated as a friend as well as a guest and I hope I can visit again.

I had a wonderful stay at Good Day Backpacker. The owners are absolutely lovely, and so are their daughters. I was offered some delicious tea several times, which I really appreciated. My room was simple but had everything I needed. It was located upstairs, with access to a shared balcony that had a table, perfect for working online while being surrounded by nature. It was peaceful and quiet, just the way I like it. The location is also ideal: only a 15-minute walk from Lakeside, but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. It was just perfect for me. The owners are also working on opening a café, so soon you’ll be able to enjoy breakfast and coffee there — such a great idea! :)
