One of the best hostels I've stayed at. The hostel is very clean and in a good location. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfy and private. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The general "atmosphere" was very friendly. I had several conversations with young fellow-travellers, some of whom were two generations younger than me. People were ready to help with a splash of oil for cooking or a bit of butter for my toast.

The lodge was easy to find once we got into Queenstown. Our room was cosy, warm, quiet and surprisingly spacious! The unit we stayed in felt like a house. The shared kitchen was huge and was open plan. It led to the lounge which led outside to a secluded seating area for our unit. The shared bathroom facility in our unit was clean and toiletries were supplied. Everything was organised and well laid out for the guests staying. It was better than what I expected.
