The location was incredible looking right out onto the waterfront from the common areas. Lots of spaces to sit out and chill, nice kitchen with plenty of storage room. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Really comfortable beds with your own light, small shelf and curtain for privacy.

Very private, comfortable, and well-equipped studio cottage (Doolittle) set within a working organic fruit orchard. Orange trees in full bloom were within feet of the patio. The smell was intoxicating and the hosts provided fresh fruit from the orchard in the cottage and a juicer was present if you wished to make fresh-squeezed OJ. The hosts put together a very nice information book, with useful information about both the cottage and local restaurants, wineries, sights, and other attractions. The cottage was within easy driving distance of Kerikeri and Paihia/Bay of Islands.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
